Welcome to SafariSucks.com
Welcome to SafariSucks.com. This website is here to present the latest news about Apple’s Safari from recent headlines, as well as report our own experiences. SafariSucks.com was created for a number of reasons, but the release of Safari 3 Beta for Windows on June 11, 2007 was the tipping point.
The domain “SafariSucks.com” was purchased in 2004 after just two days of using Safari on OSX (Mozilla’s FireFox was downloaded and installed immediately following).

I’m so sick of safari quitting for NO APPARENT REASON. And where the hell’s the home button? I’m tired of it so I’m now sticking with firefox.

I downloaded Safari because one of our clients could not view our webpage. Now I understand why. Safari sucks. I was trying to edit the security settings to bypass a certificate that does not match the domain name (we have alternate domains) and you cannot do it. I clicked on the Advanced tab - nothing.
I guess Safari is a great browser for people who don’t want to do anything on Internet.

Safari totally sucks! What is worse, is Mac users tend to not upgrade it. So not only do you have to support suck @ss Safari 3, but also every version of Safari 1.x because the people who typically come to our site are too computer illiterate to upgrade their freaksn sucky browser. These same people must throw rocks at the full moon. Apple suck too. Don’t tell me it doesn’t you fanatics. Nice interface, sure. Work at an Apple call center and support Mac’s for two years in the corporate world and you WILL KNOW that Mac’s suck. Why won’t Apple die?

I hate safari. It really sucks. I’m so sick and fucking tired of getting webpages to look and behave correctly in safari.
I wish it were a tangible object so I could smash it into tiny little pieces, burn them, then flush them down the shitter.

I was just frustrated at lack of useable answersat Apple and elsewhere and typed Safari SUCKS. And here you are. It wasn’t my imagination.
I use an older clamshell that an IT professional put Panther on. I thought my I-book with OSX version 1 was buggy…whoa! I was soo wrong. That laptop had problems with sleep and memory, but NEVER crashed. My X has it to this day and it is 3 years old. BUT it used Navigator.
I have used Safari on MAC and PC. It sucks in so many ways I cannot guess why.
And I am not willing to become an IT professional and strip every plug-in and “extra application I have to accomodate this buggy-as-Micorsoft application! I liked MAC for it’s user friendly (sometimes too much so) interface and stability. I want to direct my energy to the programs use not in learning programming making them compatible before even learning a tutorial!
NOR Do I like the incredible amount of memory Safari uses up! One unusable browser almost as big as running something like Windows? What Da?
Don’t stick MAC with SAFARI! Let it go the way of the commodore and good riddance! I’d have better luck running Vista on this laptop! Least I could guess why IT fails.
TO ME, MAC has officially become as frustrating with ”-’ versions incompatibility as Microsoft. They may as well merge now!
I actually miss DOS now

I have used Safari for a few months and decided to quit. It clearly has some compatibility issues on several websites and some webmails I use do not work. Apple needs to improve these immediately otherwise I feel many users will get frustrated due to very bad user experience.
For standard web browsing, I feel Firefox and even the internet explorer do much better job.
Apple is good at design, but bad at quality of software in general.
