SafariSucks.com is mentioned on miscellaneous blogs and forums quite frequently. You might be surprised as to how often the term “Safari Sucks” is searched for on Google daily. However, I thought this post on Craigslist entitled “Safari Blows” was worth sharing due the excellent recreation of the SafariSucks.com logo!

Apple should be ashamed for claiming Safari is fasted browser of the world, in fact it is worst browser I have ever used, pages takes forever to load. My honest opinion is Firefox is the best browser.

you together with people who dislike safari obviously has no sense of beauty.safari makes reading a pleasure.i’ve never owned any mac or apple product and ‘m not a 15 years old fanboy.but as soon as i gave safari a few days I find browsing with firefox,ie,opera so boring.
it’s mainly the way fonts are displayed on safari,say mac standard vs windows standard of fonts.that smooth lovely mac graphics feeling.

Safari is the main reason why my website is taking forever to create. The fonts don’t listen, in order to connect with javascript I have to add this

Safari really does suck, it wont allow me to respond to people on craiglist Safari can’t open “mailto:********” because Mac OS X doesn’t recognize Internet addresses starting with “mailto:”.

I really thought Safari could be good, considering WebKit is based on KHTML and all… No. It is nowhere near as fast as Konqueror, and NO, it does not work properly on Windoze. (I assume it does so on Mac)
Most reliable: Firefox.
Fastest: Konqi.
Good compromise: Opera.
Safari: kinda blows… yep.
PS: Never tried on a Mac though…

Yes, it’s true… Safari does SUCK… I have try final release of Safari v4.0 (530.17) and I notice something that should not happen… Apple said in their website that Safari 4 will not crash, only the tab will crash. Unfortunately, Safari 4 does crash and no recovery when I open the program again. Safari 4 crash when I open Back-End of my Mambo CMS website in Content Item section to edit the content. Dialog box occur saying something and when I click OK, BOOM… Safari 4 crash instantly… I beginning to like Safari 4 but when something SUCK like that happen, I am really frustrated. Well… Once u go FIREFOX you will never go back…

I bought a new Imac, thinking I get the best for my photography business. Actually it is, love my mac!
But when it comes to SAFARI, man that sucks so much, make me regretted I had get a MAC, seriously. why, when I paid for a cable internet services of 18 mbps. my stupid SAFARI does not load fast? why do I have to wait eternities to be able to see websites and look like a old piece of #$%^& computer.
IE make looks MAC like a HYUNDAI Vs. Ferrari
SAFARI, you really sucks.

Just test-driving Safari 5 (win) and it crashed twice since I installed it 3 minutes ago (on the same website)… Much slower than Chrome and it interrupted me twice trying to type an address… And it also still doesn’t have the address+search bar combo…
I never thought I would say this, but since IE8, Internet Explorer is no longer the worst browser available…

Can’t publish Craiglist ads.
Certain social networking sites show new messages in inbox…browse to inbox…Safari shows it’s empty.
Several other issues that I don’t recall, mostly not loading or displaying content. EVERY time I have an issue in Safari I try Firefox and it works.
Yep, Safari sucks ass. It does look nice though.

Indeed, Safari sucks badly. What good is all the CCS3 and HTML5 whizbang support if it can’t do basic rendering properly? I am about to fix yet another round of “only happens in Safari” bugs on a moderately complex web app. For Christ’s sake, even IE does a better job.

Why when I’m surfing does the favorites window pop up obscuring 85% of the page I am viewing? The only way I can get out of it is to go back one page, then click forward to the page again.
There are LOTS of other bugs and weird conventions regarding the operational use (or non-operation) of certain Safiri features.
As a Mac user for over 20 years now, I’m constantly amazed at how often I find myself feeling that Safari is a P.O.S., and easily the worst product Apple has ever released.
They really need to start from scratch and come out with a totally new product. I’m amazed they haven’t learned the lesson from Microsoft, who has a long history of releasing crap products and then trying to fix them over the years by foisting upgrade after upgrade on the user base, without ever really coming out with something productive that people really enjoy using.

Safari crashes all of the time. Undoubtedly the worst. I am surprised Apple stands by it. I like firefox. I also don’t understand the supposed font issues that Safari savants shout about from their rooftops. If it takes too long to open a site, I don’t care about the “experience.” Steve Jobs, you do a lot of interesting, good work, but you f#$%ed up on this one. also, why is my two year old, updated, iphone still unable to play some videos on facebook? furthermore, safari crashes all of the time on my phone as well.

I can use any browser IE, Ghrome and Firefox to watch my daily news on CNN.com and watch the video`s on it. But Safari just doesn`t work! AND PLEASE KNOW I HAVE A FREAKING Brand new HP laptop!!! A brand new laptop and it can`t even show some simple damn video`s! Secondly if i put a copied html link in the address bar and press enter even this simple thing it can`t do. It loads apple webpages in one session and it will give an error sound message during other sessions. I mean, What the %#)*(*@)##. Safari is the wort piece of product i have ever seen. I hate it so much. Avoid this garbage at all cost people.
AND did i mention the pages on Safari load slower then a snake while i have a 50Mb/s internet connection! oh.Please can someone get these Apple guy`s jailed for producing this nonsense.

There are roughly 2 Billion users on the Internet. There are over 600 million registered facebook accounts. That means (approximately) 1/3 of the entire world is on FaceBook. And safari on the iPad does not even work right with (one can argue) the largest website in the world.
Safari is terrible. Apple should be required by law to allow for third party applications of all sorts on the iPad o/s. (FireFox, Chrome, Opera, etc.)
How Apple gets away with owning the O/S AND the Hardware AND the censorship of applications is WAY beyond me.

SAFARI sucks. its very slow,google chrome and internet explorer 9 is 1000000 much faster.i go to the flying image in the test drive, safari extremely sucks because the image spin very slow and roughly.google chrome spin smooth internet explorer 9 spin smooth.and i move to the preschool. safari sing 34 second, internet explorer 9 take 3-7 second google chrome takes 8-15.

Safari AND S*** Leopard are pieces of S***!!!
I should never have “upgraded” to S*** Leopard (no offense to the poor animal). The FAQing thing crashes at least once a week (hung, with that spinning beach ball thing).

I love my Mac…but Safari is a real piece of shit. The only things I like are that you can drag-n-drop URLs and copy and paste stuff easier than Firefox. The biggest gripe I have is the pdf crashing shit. After the browser crashes, you have to wait like 10 minutes before using it again.
