you together with people who dislike safari obviously has no sense of beauty.safari makes reading a pleasure.i've never owned any mac or apple product and 'm not a 15 years old fanboy.but as soon as i gave safari a few days I find browsing with firefox,ie,opera so boring.
it's mainly the way fonts are displayed on safari, say mac standard vs windows standard of fonts.that smooth lovely mac graphics feeling.
so you suck not safari!

How doth Safari suck? Let us count the ways . . . .

Two immediate observations: text is fuzzy and mostly illegible, and many Web sites do not display correctly. Not even close.

Hey, but other than that it kicks ass! I mean, it's an Apple product consecrated by Steve Jobs himself, so it's all good. I'm sure they'll get it right with the next iteration . . . or the next . . . or the next. One day. Meanwhile, Microsoft sucks RAH!

I have used Safari for a few months and decided to quit. It clearly has some compatibility issues on several websites and some webmails I use do not work. Apple needs to improve these immediately otherwise I feel many users will get frustrated due to very bad user experience.
For standard web browsing, I feel Firefox and even the internet explorer do much better job.
Apple is good at design, but bad at quality of software in general.

What I don't get is, why the heck would someone want to use Safari on Windows? I mean, c'mon, might as well use IE7

I was just frustrated at lack of useable answersat Apple and elsewhere and typed Safari SUCKS. And here you are. It wasn't my imagination.
I use an older clamshell that an IT professional put Panther on. I thought my I-book with OSX version 1 was buggy...whoa! I was soo wrong. That laptop had problems with sleep and memory, but NEVER crashed. My X has it to this day and it is 3 years old. BUT it used Navigator.
I have used Safari on MAC and PC. It sucks in so many ways I cannot guess why.
And I am not willing to become an IT professional and strip every plug-in and "extra application I have to accomodate this buggy-as-Micorsoft application! I liked MAC for it's user friendly (sometimes too much so) interface and stability. I want to direct my energy to the programs use not in learning programming making them compatible before even learning a tutorial!
NOR Do I like the incredible amount of memory Safari uses up! One unusable browser almost as big as running something like Windows? What Da?

Don't stick MAC with SAFARI! Let it go the way of the commodore and good riddance! I'd have better luck running Vista on this laptop! Least I could guess why IT fails.
TO ME, MAC has officially become as frustrating with ''-' versions incompatibility as Microsoft. They may as well merge now!
I actually miss DOS now

I love Firefox 3. It has the cool graphical features (visual image and text dragging) and is much faster and more secure. I don't know if I'll ever use Safari again.

I don't have anything against firefox, but I think the typeface on Safari is more pleasing to the eye and easier to read. What is wrong with that?
